SMART Broiler project in Indonesia with Sierad Produce

FarmResult is excited to announce collaboration with Indonesian poultry integrator PT Sierad Produce Tbk to kick-off the SMART broiler project. The formal announcement was made this month during the annual shareholders meeting of Sierad Produce in Jakarta.

Sierad Produce is one of the major poultry integrators in Indonesia with a DOC of over 100 million yearly, its own animal feed manufacturing operation and poultry processing subsidiary, Belfoods. Their broiler farm in Banten will be fully equipped with IoT-connected sensors, automated equipment and FarmResult delivers our cloud-based management system PoultryResult.

We will aggregate real-time farm data and supply chain data like DOC information and feed deliveries, supporting Sierad in streamlining their farming operations in the broader context of their supply chain. PoultryResult will visualize real-time data like feed, weight, water and relative humidity in a multiple location overview. Our early-warning alerts help them appoint problems the minute they arise in the farms and support improved responsiveness and further mitigate risks. The benchmarking option also helps Sierad benchmark results, both technical as well as financial.

Business Development Director of Sierad Produce, Mr. Sudirman stated ‘’ smart farming is a very important solution to optimize our company’s performance in broiler farming. By collaborating with FarmResult, it will allow Sierad to gain precise insights in taking fast action and mitigating risks by utilizing real-time data and supply chain data. Therefore, Sierad can have more control of the farm and it will increase the productivity.”

We at FarmResult are happy to work with Sierad to help them gain continuous control over all processes in their broiler houses. This will be done in collaboration with one of the biggest telco providers in Indonesia, PT XL Axiata Tbk and HAS University. XL Axiata will provide the IoT sensors in the poultry houses and connects to PoultryResult while the HAS University will also be involved to help analyze the data. Together we hope to form a better farming program for in the future.
